"Closing-the-cycle" approach


Sustainable development calls for a respectful and efficient use of the scarce natural resources. Indeed, the natural resources, although seemingly abundant, are not limitless. That is why it is necessary to re-use and recycle as much as possible the residual products of human activity.

 

WATERLEAU supplies technologies that help treat these residues into clean products that can be given back to nature.

 

From nature, water, fuel and other raw materials are use by mankind to produce objects, food, ... This human activity results in polluted water, air, waste, ... that has to be treated. The cleaned materials are given back to nature or are directly re-used, thus closing the product cycle. In this process sometimes energy is produced and this reduces the need for primary fuels.
